Built for Dogs.
Designed Like a Home.
A boutique luxury kennel just outside Shreveport — purpose-built, hands-on, and limited to five exclusive suites so every guest gets the attention they deserve.
Noble Nose Canine Boarding sits on a quiet stretch of Locust Hill Road in Greenwood, Louisiana — ten minutes from downtown Shreveport, but a world away from the noise. We built it from the ground up with one goal: a boarding facility we’d trust with our own dogs. Marble-finish suites, private outdoor runs, climate control year-round, and only five exclusive runs so nothing ever feels crowded or rushed.
The best way to understand it is to walk through it. So here’s the tour.
The Facility,
Inside.
Walk through the front door and the first thing you’ll notice is what isn’t there: no chain-link runs lined up like a warehouse, no smell, no echoing barks. Just polished epoxy floors, marble-look walls, white subway tile, and warm lighting overhead.
Five private suites line one side. A working kitchen and prep area lines the other. Everything is climate-controlled, professionally cleaned, and built to feel more like a small luxury hotel than a kennel.
Inside Each
Private Suite.
Each suite is a fully self-contained space. Plush bedding, a personal toy basket, food and water bowls on a wipeable mat, soft area rugs over the polished floor — every detail chosen to feel less like a cage and more like a guest room.
Suites are climate-controlled year-round and never shared between dogs from different households. Your dog has their own quiet space to decompress, sleep, and just be themselves.
The Door That Makes
The Difference.
This is the part most kennels skip. Every suite has its own exterior door with a built-in doggy door — meaning your dog isn’t waiting on staff to let them out. They go outside whenever they want, day or night, and come back in the same way.
It’s the single biggest difference between Noble Nose and a traditional kennel. No accidents from being held too long, no anxiety from being locked in, no waiting on a schedule that isn’t theirs.
Private Outdoor
Runs.
On the other side of that doggy door is a private fenced run attached to your dog’s suite. Not shared. Not communal. Theirs alone for the duration of their stay.
The runs are fully fenced with secure chain-link, screened from neighboring runs, and shaded by the building. Your dog gets fresh air on their own schedule — no leashes, no waiting, no group chaos.
The Communal
Play Yard.
For dogs who want more than their private run, we have a large fenced play yard tucked behind a tall wood privacy fence. It’s where guests come to stretch out, chase a ball, or just nap in the sun.
Play yard time is supervised one-on-one or in small, carefully matched groups — never the chaotic free-for-all that bigger kennels run. With only five guests at a time, we can actually pay attention to each one.
Boarding for the dogs
we couldn’t leave anywhere else.
Noble Nose started as a private kennel built next to our home — a place for our own dogs while we traveled. After friends and family kept asking if they could leave their dogs with us too, it became clear the Shreveport area didn’t have what we’d built. So we opened it up.
Ashley spent ten years as a veterinary technician before opening Noble Nose, so the medical side — medications, special diets, recognizing when something’s off — is all second nature. The kennel sits steps from our front door, which means there’s always someone close by, day and night.
We kept it small on purpose. Five runs only. That way every guest gets real attention, every quirk gets noticed, and every owner gets honest updates from someone who actually knows their dog by name.
Real Care.
Real Backup.
A luxury suite is great. Knowing the people behind it is better. Here’s what stands behind every stay at Noble Nose.
Vet-Tech Owned
Ashley spent 10 years as a veterinary technician before opening Noble Nose. Medications, special diets, and medical observation come naturally.
Steps From Home
The kennel is built next to our house. Someone is always close by, day and night — not down the road, not “on call,” nearby.
Vet Partnerships
We partner with South Park Animal Hospital and Animal Emergency Clinic for routine and after-hours care if anything ever comes up.
Only 5 Suites
Boutique by design. We never take more than five guests at a time so every dog gets real attention, not warehouse-style supervision.
