What Your Dog
Needs to Stay With Us.
Clear, simple requirements that keep every guest at our luxury Shreveport boarding facility safe, healthy, and happy.
Because every guest shares our facility, we keep a few standards in place to protect everyone — yours included. Below is everything your vet will need to confirm before your dog’s first stay, plus what to bring with you on drop-off day.
Vaccines Every
Guest Must Have.
All vaccinations must be current and verified by a licensed veterinarian. Bring records to drop-off, or have your vet email them ahead of time.
Rabies
Required by Louisiana state law. Current 1-year or 3-year vaccine accepted.
DHLPP
Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza & Parvovirus combo vaccine.
Bordetella
Protects against kennel cough. Required annually — given at least 7 days before stay.
Canine Influenza
Annual booster required. Initial series is two shots given 2–4 weeks apart.
Healthy Guests,
Safe Stays.
Beyond vaccinations, every dog must be in good general health and on active parasite prevention.
Active Flea & Tick Prevention
Your dog must be on a current flea and tick preventative — topical, oral, or collar. This protects every guest in our facility.
Recent Negative Parasite Screen
A negative fecal screening from a recent vet visit is required. This catches things flea/tick prevention can’t.
Good General Health
Only dogs in good health are eligible to board. If your dog has been recently sick or in recovery, please call before booking.
Friendly & Non-Aggressive
Guests must be comfortable with handlers and non-aggressive toward people and other dogs. Dogs with bite history aren’t a fit for our facility.
Dogs We
Can’t Accommodate.
For the safety of all guests, we’re not equipped for the following situations. Please call us if you have questions about your dog’s eligibility.
